ERROR when using variable

Hi

When I using one measure variable with a formula in report.it gives ERROR. But when I am using formula alone in the formula bar. it gives correct value. But I have to use variable iself in the report.

I am using WebI XI R2

Please help

Please can you post the syntax as well as what product you are using.

Resolved one of the variable within the formulae where condition was measure, which I changed to Dimension.
