Error when installing BO xi 4.0 on Linux

HI

We just got our new Bo xi 4.0 and I was trying to install it on red hat linux version 5.5… but was not able to run the setup.sh … It is saying permission denied on setupexe. I checked the rights… and it has execute rights on this file…

could anyone please share some insight. or anything which will help me to install it …

Any chance you’ve extracted the compressed 4.0 linux install with a windows machine or into a NTFS filesystem? That would destroy the file permissions information. If this is the case, you need to extract the files using a linux system into a linux filesystem.
