I am running a report script that opens a report that no longer works. When I try to open the report either via the script or via BO I get a “You are not Authorized to Use this document” message. Previously I’ve had no trouble getting access to this report. I don’t know what I’ve done that’s made this alteration.

You might try signing on as the General Supervisor ID to get access again. Then you can re-set the rights on the document. Or do it from Supervisor as the GenSup ID.
We’ve had the same problem, but because we’re running in a citrix winframe enviroment the NT user who has the permission problem has to log in as General Supervisor. The documents all have the right permissions, both BO and NT. Any idea’s on this one??

Sounds like your Winframe environment isn’t setup correctly. Check to see where Business Objects is putting your reports on import. If everyone is importing them to the same shared location, instead of to a personal directory, then the person who imports the document originally would be fine, but everyone else after who just tries to open if from the shared location could be out of luck.

Nope, people have their own personal directories. Its a strange problem because they’re able to open and use it a few times, then for no apparent reason it decides that they’re not authorised to use the document. BO seems to have some ‘issues’ running in a winframe env, does anyone else out there use winframe???
