Error initializing SMTP server. Return code: [TCP open failed.]
E-mail settings are correct but we get above error.
Telnet to the smtp server works fine.
Also fail notification e-mails work but report e-mails not.
What to do? Thanks.
Yes, i have configured smtp (port,server,domain,authentication)
and enebled it on all bo servers.
I am using default job server options.
Our bo did work with these settings earlier but after
smtp server change it did stop working. (only notification mails work)
(smtp server changed from sendmail to postfix )
What you mean with enable?
Do I just have to configure every job server with the host, port and authentication, or is there another requirement? (= another checkbox or something like this in CMC)
