We are on XI 4.2 SP 9 . We are facing an issue with one of our existing reports ,after changing the freehand sql connection, we are unable to refresh the report in BI launchpad. The error is ORA-12154.The same report runs properly in webi rich client. I am aware that Webi rich client is 32 bits here. So what could be the issue here?
Take a look at the driver being used with the new connection. How does it compare with the prior connection that was working?
Make sure your new connection is set-up properly in the TNSNAMES.ORA file on the BO server and the name matches what’s used in the connection.
