Error exporting DS job

Hi All,

I am having issues exporting the DS Job. It gives the following error.

Export Failed. Additional information. No Additional information available.

If I connect to my repository from a different machine export works. I tried reinstalling DS in my machine but it did not help. I tried exporting it to different folders and to my desktop but I am still getting the same error.

I have tried exporting with and without data stores.

It would be great if someone can provide thoughts on this. And if anyone has come across this error before it would be great if you could share the resolution.

Have you tried completely uninstalling, clearing out all evidence of SAP products and THEN installing? I’ve had issues in the past where a very thorough scrubbing was needed to clear up a problem that was only on one specific machine.

I tried uninstalling DS and then installing again. It did not help. But I did not uninstall other SAP products like business objects. I can try doing that.

You have to clear everything from the directories as well as the registry.

I cleared everything from registry and removed all SAP products. And then tried installing. But unfortunately I am still getting the same error.

Any suggestions what else I can try.

Is there a chance that you’re trying to export to a local directory that you don’t have rights to?

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your response.I do have admin rights in my laptop. I tried exporting it to different locations. It did not help.
