I am working BOXIR3 one of my user is geting the error when he open the report… in webintelligence…
Error like:-An internal error occured while calling ‘processDPCommands’ API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)
It’s a generic error message. Have you checked your Web Intelligence Processing Servers are enabled and running? Does the user have the appropriate rights to the universe and connection underlying the report?
Hi,
I have the same issue with some reports after a XIR2 to XI3.1 migration. Did you find anything? BO support didn’t provide me with a solution.
Thanks,
Eric
Our BIAR process did not migrate any connections - after recreating the connections I encountered the same error messages.
Seems to have been resolved by doing an integrity check on the Universe and resolving all cardinality issues from the migration.
Once all the intergity issues were resolved and the LOV’s recreated - I re-exported the Universe which resolved the WIS errors.
Also - confirm that you have the Universes existing in the correct universe folders.
Log in to Universe check the universe connection and make proper connection and save it and export it,
b’coz i had the same problem which is resolved by doing the above…
I have four web intelligence reports. Among these, for one report when i click on refresh list of values of a prompt i am getting the error
"An internal error occured while calling process DPCommands API (Error: ERR_WIS_30270) (Error.INF).
But , the same objects are working and sisplaying the list of values when i refresh for other three reports.
I’ve had this problem reported on XIR3 with some reports.
Following the advice above I went and checked the Universe with the Check Integrity tool. There were a number of errors reported with structures not matching the underlying DB. I corrected them and exported universe. Report now seems to run ok and appears to refresh much faster too.
In my case, we needed to update an existing universe, the problem I faced that the DBAs created entirly new view with updated tables. some of these tables were brand new and some of them were existing with new columns. I had to repoint the universe to the new view. all the reports using the objects from “tables with changes” appeard to have this error. the reports with object belonging to the table that simply were repointed but had no change are working fine. so now, I am looking for a solution, that could solve this darn issue, any advice??? Oz
I just recieved this for the first time this morning on a report and cannot open it since.
This report was ‘auto saved changes’ (column width changes only–no new fields, query, universe, etc changes) after a session was broken with infoview. The report was cut from My Favorites/~Webintelligence and pasted into to another folder using infoview.
Any ideas on what may have caused this problem and how i can resolve it?
When I encounter this problem,I just change my computer environment variable, the ORACLE_SID,set its value to which database you config when you install SAP
