Enterprise recipients problem - Invalid argument

I have a publication that generates a file on a file server. I don’t want it to be “sent” to anyone so did not enter any recipients. However it won’t generate a file in this state; there apparently must be a recipient, so I entered myself and everything works fine.

When I migrated it to another server though, I get the following error (edited):
source file error. [[CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged] ([1]/[1])]: [Invalid argument] (FBE60013)

When I remove myself as a recipient the process completes successfully (but not file, as before). I would think this means the recipient I entered isn’t valid on that server, but I re-added it using the user list presented on that server and it didn’t help. The reports itself runs fine.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

I had the same problem,

Did you find out where it came from?

Thanks

I looked back through my emails to refresh my memory, and I didn’t find much but did find one that implied it was simply related to file server access. The error message certainly isn’t any help. I’ll see if I can dig up more, but I’m not optimistic. Most of the errors I’ve encountered are BO server settings though.

I think it was indeed related to file server access.

I created an account and set the file write access to use it just for the report bursting, and it seems to work now.

But the error message sure isn’t very enlightening…

Thanks,

Oliv
