hi pasha

open your deski report.
press alt f11
view-> project explorer
type the VB code and save that with the report meaningful name.

next time when you refresh , your macros is enabled.

Hi Judia,

Thanks for your prompt response.

I think this is related to BO Administrator.Alt F11 won’t work for this becouse Visual Basic for Application itself is not available so it won’t open the Visual basic editor.

Thanks
Mohammed Pasha.

hi pasha,

No, This is not an adminstrator work.
you have to open deski report.
click tools-> macros->visual basic editor
you can write macros by clicking view-> project explorer.
and save the document.

thank you

if you are on windows, have you tried first to execute your macro launching deski and running it on the server itself ? What is the result ?

Hi there,

What sort of installation did you do ? Have you expressly uncheck VBA on the BO install ?

cheers

Hello,

I had installed a Desktop with Server instalation and the macros in desktop run perfectly.
An other day I installed de Designer with Server instalation and the macros in desktop don’t run.

Yesterday, I uninstall all BO and I instaled again and now all run perfectly.

ok so that comes from installation… but sorry I can’t be more accurate cause I don’t have an installation CD with me now.

cheers
