My users are having a strange problem. When they select “Send To…Business Objects Inbox,” they see a blank list of other users. So they are unable to send documents to each other.
This is a new problem. We haven’t changed our profiles or any other configuration parameters. Users that were already set up in the system can access the user list and thus send to other users, but not anyone who has been set up in the past week or so.
We discovered the problem. The users in question did not have access to other groups (the user list). When we granted them access, they could send to other users.
I am facing exact same problem too.
Where did you change the setting so that the users can see others while doing Send To -> Business Objects Inbox.
We are on XI 3.1
Ok I found it in some other thread…reproducing it here so that it helps someone else.
CMC -> Users and Groups -> User List -> Manage -> Top-Level Security -> All Users -> OK -> Everyone -> Assign Security -> Advanced -> Add/Remove Rights -> General -> General -> View objects -> Granted -> OK -> OK -> Close
Do this and the sender users will be able to see all the users in your system in the recepient list of Send To -> Inbox, to choose recepients from…
