Currently I email all my reports in HTML format, and would like to instead send out my reports in PDF format. I am starting from scratch and know very little about what is required. I have Adobe Acrobat PDF writer version 3 installed, but have access to version 4. Whatever I do has to work for the version 3 reader.
Question: to automate this using either the BO 4 scripts and/or VBA for version 5, how do I do this? I looked for an Adobe library that I can access in Visual Basic, but there is just one for the reader which did not help. Do I need a library written in C? Do I need to make API calls? Any information would be very helpful. All I want to do is to send a report to the adobe printer, and change some parameters like file location and page orientation.
Of course if there are any sample scripts out there…
Of course I checked Dave’s website, but alas no samples.
