Email to BO group

We have windows AD authentications. Groups are added. Internally groups were created to give permission to view certain universes etc. If i update the user email in under user in CMC, how this will me. If i want to send to a list of perople under BO_group(contain user1,user2)? Can we send email to this group of people. I tried creating a group and email did not go to the people under this group. Please let me know.

Hi,

The user email in the CMC is purely for reference only and does not tie in with sending email to users.

I would have thought that as long as the email group is set up on the email server that you are using to send email then you will be able to email to a group of users by specifying the group email address when you set up the schedule.
