Hi All,
Is it possible to edit an Adhoc report with HTML viewer. If so what are the settings to be made.
As of now, reports can be viewed in HTML viewer, but when we choose to edit them, they always open with Applet viewer. Some users will not have the JDK installed on thier machines and hence will not be able to view reports.
Thanx in advance

Make sure your default creation/editing tool is set to Interactive in your Infoview Preferences.

Yes. Under Preferences>Web Intelligence Document I have selected view format as Interactive.
But every time we edit a report the Applet is loaded. Is usage of applets necessary to edit reports. Can’t we not edit the same with HTML viewer.
I cannot ask all my users to have java sdk on thier machines so as to edit thier reports. Kindly suggest any alternatives.
Thanks for your response

Hi Cashworth,
You were right. But the change was also required here:
Preferences > Select a report panel: Query - HTML
I’m now able to view it HTML editor.
Thanx a lot for your response. We need you folks around.
Cheers!!
