Do you see any problem making my Windows 2008 server with Edge 3.1 my network’s primary domain controller?

In the Installation Guide, they mentioned:
And people generally avoid installing any such Enterprise Tools on the domain controllers.
However, I don’t say - It wont work - but its your risk. Because you never know when you will restart the system for solving issues

Can I install Edge 3.1 on a virtual machine on the same hardware that is also a DC?
