Dynamics not working in 2008 that did work in 4.5

I have a dashboard originally built in 4.5 that doesn’t work properly in 2008. The dashboard has a list box with the regions we have our sales force broken down into. In the 4.5 version I can highlight a region in this list and it gives me a list of salespeople for that region in another list box below. There are 4 pie charts that show different activities and in 4.5 once you click on the region name, the first sales person in the list is automatically highlighted and the pie charts all change automatically to reflect the first person’s sales figures, I never need to click on a name for the charts to change. In 4.5 I can go from region to region and the graphs update automatically without me having to click any individual names in the second list box.

In 2008 when I click on the region name it shows me the list of salespeople with the first one highlighted but the charts don’t update. I need to select someone else in the list for any information from that region to show. At that point I can go back to the first person to get their information. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the graphs to update automatically when switching selections ion first list box?

I believe this was supposed to be fixed in SP1, but SP1 is pretty flaky right now, so I would be wary of loading it.

I felt brave and tried the service pack which has fixed my problem. Everything else seems to be working fine so far. It looks like some of the issues mentioned in the thread you linked were addressed such as the flash player removal and reinstall being done as part of the installer package rather than having to do it manually. Thanks for your direction.

I had that same issue with the dynamics but I kinda figured out how to manuver using the dynamics. U have to be careful when selecting your data insertion type (Row, Position etc.) That will be the key for u using a list box to see different info.
