Dynamic Header Banner Images

I have 3 images on the BO server in the images folder. They are for portrait, landscape, and legal landscape size reports. All Public reports pull their header banners using the boimg URL; boimg://banner_logo_4_portrait.gif .

I have 3 new images made that reflect our companies new branding.

If I replace the existing image files on the server with the new ones and insure they have the previous files exact name, will existing reports pull the new images?

Yes, as long as the server has an image with the name “banner_logo_4_portrait”, you will get the image. If you did not see it, restart the server.

There may be an issue with browsers caching the old image but if you clear the browser’s cache it should pull straight through (providing that the current one works!)

Thank you! I’m sure Firefox will need its cache cleared, I’ll have to test Chrome.
