Duplicate BO servers - under which circumstances?

Hi,

how do I find out whether I should duplicate certain BO XI R2 servers, e.g. adding a second Job or Deski Cache Server? Are there any indicators?

There are many factors that can influence the decision. These factors can include such things as number of users, number of documents, number of scheduled documents, how critical the system is, how active the users are, which products are being used. But wait! There’s more. 8)

Do I get a kind of error message that a second server, e.g., DeskI Cache Server, is needed or would I just notice a poor performance?

You would notice poor performance. However, it is possible that a user could get an error message that a needed resource is not available.
