Hi All,
When I create and run a job with DS 4.2, the load performance was very bad.
the Source DB is MSSQL and the Target DB is SAP IQ 16.
when i load tested some columns exclude datetime column, it finished within few seconds.
but, include datetime type column, it finished over an hour.
Is there any parameter to change IQ or DS?

I did a proof of concept last year where Oracle and IQ were tested side-by-side on the same O/S. In almost every case the IQ load speed was on par or slower than Oracle (SQLLDR). However, the IQ query performance consistently blew away Oracle, often by quite a large margin.
I’m not saying that you don’t have an issue with the data fields, but I want to give you some perspective so that you don’t expect blazing fast load speeds on IQ.

But, still i cannot found the solution about data type issue.
when i changed the datetime column to varchar, DS job finished within a few seconds.
Should I change Sybase IQ’s data type?
Or is there any option to change it?
