DS 4.2 Upgrade from DS 3.2 with Information Steward on AIX

I’m currently in the midst of planning our (long overdue) upgrade to Data Services 4.2.

We’re considering the additional use of Information Steward. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve read the documentation for 4.2 and discovered that Information Steward is not available on the AIX Platform! :crazy_face: :hb:

Having searched the forum I discovered this post regarding running Information Steward on Solaris - or not as the case may be! :shock:

So then. A couple of questions:

[list]Is it possible to install Information Steward on a windows PC?
Do I need to have a job engine on the same install as the location of the Information Steward?[/list]

Any suggestions or observations would be welcome. :oops:
