In one there are information about the actual date. The drill down for that is Month -> Dept - > Employee
In the second are information about the leave date. The drill down for that is
LEAVE Month -> Dept -> Employee
In the second report, when I drill down, it is ok, but when I drill by, the business objects ask me which drill down I want to see (by month or by leave month).
I know this is because I have the same dept and employee level for both drill downs.
But the user don’t want to see this box (with the question).
by duplicating the objects and renaming as appropriate ???
I created two hierarchies, one with month and the other with leave month, but the others level is the same for both hierarchies, and the report open a question box when i try the drill by, which hierarchies i want.
Can I change this?
Because the client doesn’t want to see this question box.
There one folder for information about Department (Name and Key) and other folder with information about Employee (Name, Add, …).
Do you think, the best way is I will create a new folder with information for Dept Leave and Employee Leave? Duplicate the information in the universe?
For hierachies to be distinct and not prompt, when used with each other hierachies, you need to make them unique, therefore, you need to provide unique object names.
These can either be natural hierachies, defined by the order of objects in a folder, or universe defined hierachies.
