I am wondering if anynoe can help me to format a report.
WE have a Hiearchy setup in universe as follows:
Call Center>Network>Manager>Employee
Now the report consists of 2 blocks, top one with Call center and a few measure columns. Bottom block has Network and same measures.
When I drill from Call Center down to Manager(I want to skip Network) , then I would like to be able pass the value (Manager) to the bottom block, which has Network, so that the Network column now (on it’s own) changes to those Network associated with the Manager showing above.
Tried your req with Island Resorts Univ. Below is the working:
Univ Custom Hierarchy:
Country>Resort>Service Line>Service
WebI report:
Created 2 queries:
Query1 : Result Obj Country Service Line Revenue Number of Guests
Scope of analysis Country ServiceLine
Query2: Result Obj: Resort Service Line Revenue Numberofguests
Scope of analysis Resort Service Line
In the report, the Country and Service Line dimensions are merged. Use these dimensions the in the tables.
Then, apply drill accordingly. Hope this helps !
Thanks, I am trying but need to know, how you are having 'COuntry" as merged dimension, as it is only available in Query 1.
I believe an object needs to be present in both queries to be merged.??
