Download of WebI reports is being saved as .csv not as .xls

Hi All,

I have an unusual problem. When downloading the WebI reports, it is directly getting saved in .csv format rather than .xls. I am not why this problem has arised?
Actually I had migrated the universes from the Business Objects client version 6.5 to WebI server version 2.6. I am not sure whether this is the one which is creating that problem. I even checked with the webI server administrator whether he had made any changes, but he hasn’t done any changes to the server. I am not aware of the server settings and all and I have no access to the server at all.
Can anyone please help me out with any possible solution?

Strange facts. What do you call “migrating from BO FC 6.5 to Webi 2.6”. Are you dephased between your webi and full client release ???

It is not abnormal if, from webi, you are not able to download as XLS because this functionnality didn’t exist on webi 2.x. It has been added on Webi 6.x
