when you are in the middle of designing your report then suddenly you cant change the formula of a column and you cant type in the quick formula toolbar that you need to save and close your report to continue?

i’ve bumped into that problem before… it’s either your session expired or your infoview browser hanged. this also happens for no reason, and these are the things that we call BUGS

Regretfully, itÂ’s all too common to see the browsers hang even when you have the correct version of java running in WebI 
.
It’s not unusual for our developers to have to completely close all local browser sessions after 5-15 minutes of working in WebI due to ‘freezing’ (not related to timeout).

Nope, It happens in all versions of BO’s. I came across… It happens because of :
–> idle time
–> trying to write a formula in formula bar without following proper syntax
Only way is to closing session and singing in.
