Does BOB support Polls?

I was talking with my SAP rep today about the issues we’re having with XIR4, and he was going to reach out to some of his clients to see what versions they are running and if on XIR4 if they are having the same pain points as we are.

And it dawned on me… I have a HUGE network of people I can also poll.

But I don’t see a way to put together an easy ‘voting’ poll on BOB. Does one exist??

I’d like to see what WEBI versions people are currently using (if any), and in the case of R4 specifically, whether they are having major issues.
Something like:

Which Version of Web Intelligence does your company primarly use:
A) We do not use an XI Version of WEBI at all.
B) XI R2 WEBI
C) XI R3 WEBI
D) XI R4 - And we’ve never used anything else
E) XI R4 - Came from a previous version, Satisfied, with no major issues.
F) XI R4 - Came from a previous version, Unhappy, having major issues.
G) XI R4 - Came from a previous version, Unhappy, Reverting to older version due to issues.

I’m more curious to see how people are getting along with R4, and while I could post a thread (kind of like this one), i’d rather have a poll which will tabulate automatically

Does BOB have that ability?

“BOB” the admin account can set up polls anywhere on the board. Regular users can only set up polls in the “Off Topic” area. The question you posted looks like it would be best served with two polls rather than one. If you agree, let me know, and we’ll post a poll for folks to respond to.

Great! I think others might find this information useful as well.

Personally, I really only care about the ratio of XIR4 vs other versions, and of course those on XIR4 what thier experience is… so 2 polls can work if you think that’s best… I was just going to add up the various XIR4 answers to get a pure XIR4 number myself to save the number of polls needed.

One poll also ensures that the number of total XIR4 people are represented in the right categories, if we split it into 2, there could be a disconnect if people answer only one poll or the other.

Then again, I’ve no clue what the response rate might be so it could be a null issue if we have only a few respondants
Therefore, I’ll leave the number of polls up to you. And feel free to expand if you think I’ve left something out.
