Greg,
just a qiuck thought. We had something similar on the repository database some time ago, when there was a very big report (>130MB) that has been created by the DAS and as the user tried to retrieve it (which failed) and deleted it. Now the repository tried to delete the file in one piece (without doing commits), but the temp memory on the database was not big enough. So the database created swapfiles over and over, until it crashed. We fixed the problem by manually deleting the document from the reporsitory database with doing block commits.
Hope it helps,
Mathias

We are running Document agent 4.1 under Oracle 8. Last weekend, we started
generating log files out of DA every minute (10meg). Obviously, this caused
a DASD overflow. This has never happened before and we cannot trace this to
a root cause. No changes were made to Oracle or the server prior to this. Anyone have an idea what may be happening and what can be done to fix this?
Scan and repair was done on the document and security repository with no effect. However, did show up a large quantity of level 5 errors. At this time we have DA in pause mode.
