DLL Export Error

I’m trying to schedule a report (created in crystal reports xi) in BOXI which when run, exports to excel 2007. This report has well over 100,000 records and therefor should be put on multiple worksheets.

The report seems to run ok but then seems to fall over with an error:
Error in File E:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11\Data\procSched\elsprod03.reportjobserver~tmp1680630bc2b95c2b.rpt: Error detected by export DLL

This report will run and export as a crystal report and other smaller reports run and export to excel fine so I’m not sure why this one is a problem.
Is there a limit to the number a records it will export?

Any ideas?

Which version of CR and BOE are you running…?

Can you do a successful export to EXCEL from that same report when running “stand-alone” on the Crystal Desktop tools with 100,000+ records…?

Excel can’t have more than 65,000 rows in a worksheet…and Crystal won’t split it into multiple sheets.

I’m using crystal report 11.0 and BOE 11.0

I can export to excel directly from CR and it works fine (and it splits it into multiple worksheets) but when I publish it into BO Enterprise it fails.

Hmmmm…should act the same since they are using the same export DLLS.

Are you desktop Crystal and the BOE server on the same service-pack / fix-pack level…?
