Displaying the subreports

Hi,

I have a report in which i need to display three sections. I have created those two sections as two sub reports and one is the Main. In the report, section (sub report) 2 and 3 should be displayed even when there is no record retrieved in section (Main Report) 1. The Main section has a database return code, If the return code is <> 0 then two sub reports should not be invoked, other wise it should be invoked. When i tried to create the report with no data in the section (Main) 1, Other two sections are displaying blank even it has some data.

Can you please kindly help me to resolve this issue.

Hi,

Under Format Subreport (press right click on sub report), choose sub report tab then check the Supress Blank Sub report

Thank you for the reply.
When i suppress the report using the above option , i could not able to retrieve the value that is returned from the Subreport.
