i have a field Plate Number grouped by plate type.
now client req is to display it in following way
| plate number1 | plate number2 | plate number3 | plate number4 |
| plate number5 | plate number6 | plate number7 | plate number8 |
| plate number9 | plate number10 | plate number11 | plate number12 |
how to achieve this formtting just for one field in detail section.

Right Click o the Details section and choose Section Expert.
Turn on ‘Format with multiple columns’, this will give you an additional tab called Layout.
Set the size for the details (to allow 5 columns) and the Gap between columns. Then choose 'Across then Down".
The size may have to be adjusted depending on the length of the database field. You may have to set up sorting within the Groups (Ascending/Descending).
