In our company we use SAP BI 4.1 SP6. When querying a dataprovider through the Restful document API the used disk space increases, even though the document instance is already saved with data.
We have a couple of dataproviders that contain a lot of data (about 800-900k records). Getting the data from one of these dataproviders extends the used disk space with around 300-400 MB each time. After a couple of days the disk is full and the server shuts down.
We configured limits on the temp storage and the documents that we query through the Restful API.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to prevent the disk space from increasing or an option to automatically delete the cache?
When we restart the webi processing server, the cache is cleared. This is however a manual action. We would like to know if there’s a way to prevent the disk from being full.
