During go-live, we came across an issue where the user credential field needs to be disabled to avoid the large impact and change at the end-user end.
We would like to disable user Name and password field under File System Destination, so the user does not type credentials.

I don’t believe that’s possible. There is no security setting I’m aware of to disable the username/password fields from appearing in BI launchpad.
Only option I can think of for accomplishing this (which is really more of a workaround), would be to create an SDK utility that looks for scheduled instances that have values for username/password, and removes them.
