Previously, we managed to create a Registry path to disable LiveOffice Add-In for all MS Office applications except MS Word prior to Win 7 4-bit OS.
However, with Win 7 64-bit based on the below Registry path, the command does not disable LiveOffice as expected.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\CrystalOfficeAddins.CrystalComAddin.6]
“LoadBehavior”=dword:00000002
“CommandLineSafe”=dword:00000000
“FriendlyName”=“BusinessObjects Live Office XI 3.1”
“Description”=“BusinessObjects Live Office XI 3.1”
maybe you could use the enable_addin.exe program located in \SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\LiveOffice and track the registry keys created or deleted before / after
Yes, I will be trying this method and report any findings. Alternatively, I did a search in the Registry and found that LiveOffice is installed in multiple areas within the Registry.
