Has anyone ever seen an instance of the SQL passed to the database changing based on whether you are in the edit mode vs. view mode?
We recently upgraded from XI 3.1 to XI 4.1 and have had several report issues. This particular report is based on a date prompt provided by the user.
In the edit mode, the date passed in the SQL is correctly passed as 3/31/2004 but in the view mode, the SQL passed is 3/30/2004. The report returned in the 4.1 edit mode matches what is displayed in the 3.1 version of the report (edit mode and view mode, both).
Other than double-clicking the report (view mode) and rt-click and modify the report (edit mode), the process for running the report and the parameters selected are exactly the same.
Is there any good reason why the view mode would pass a different date parameter? Any idea of the cause and how to correct it?
