Difference - SAP Business Objects vs SAP NetWeaver/BI/BW

Hi All,

I am looking forward for a detailed list of differences (non technical) but what a Business User can understand…
Difference between SAP Business Objects and SAP Netwaever (now SAP BI / BW).

Would really appreciate your inputs and views… It would be of great help…!

Why would anyone want to have NetWeaver along or in replacement of Business Objects. Two are not the same.

Now do you want to run them both together?

SAP BusObjeczts is mainly a Frontend tool, meaning reporting/analysis/dashboards.

SAP BW is SAP’s version of a data warehouse including multi-language support, currency exchange rates, modelling of data, process chains, ETL, etc.
