destination DLL disabled. CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged

Hi Guys,

On some of our reports we are getting an error:

destination DLL disabled. CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged

and the report failed. I read the forum and made sure that our destination servers were enabled… but error is still here…

any other thoughts?

Make sure the unmanaged disk is also configured and enabled for your Job Servers, as well. The Destination Job Server only helps to send documents directly from InfoView (via the Send button). Any scheduled report uses the respective Job Server (Crystal, Webi, or Deski) to send the report to a destination, so the Unmanaged Disk destination will need to be configured and enabled on the Job Server, as well.

I am getting the same error in 3.1. Where we find the un-managed disk option in 3.1?

Thanks,

Check the destination of the scheduled instance and I believe it might be email address which is not recommended.

How do you configure these servers? through CMC or through scripts? Also, how is the Unmanaged Disk configured? though DBAs or …?

Through the CMC.

The settings you want are on the “Destination” tab of the Job Server properties. If there is no Destination tab, then you’ll need to create a new Job Server, and add Destinations as an extension.
