Need some suggestion, We are in the process of converting Deski reports to Webi …
All the Deski reports are created based on the stored procedures. Please advice me how to convert the Desk’s to Webi…
Should I use report conversion tool ( some one said me while converting from Deski to webi …each Deski creates a separate universe … I have nearly 600 + reports )
or Should created a new universe…
Please advice me…

I have seen the Link and it is really great full. But we have nearly 1500 reports in DESKI that need to be converted to Webi.
My database is Sybase. Did any one converted the DESKI to WEBI with sybase using the Example.
What are the potential issues or the best way is a New Universe.

Are they all stored proc based ?
I think the first thing to do if it is really necessary to migrate all of them. use audit to check. if some of them have not been use for a while, maybe it is wasting time to migrate them. After, use the convert tools to check first how many can be easyli converted with success. After, for the other, you should also examine them and try to factorize them so that you should reduce the number to be migrated or rebuilt.
