Deski Report not refreshing Infoview

Hopefully someone can help…

We are running migrated reports from 6.5 to XIR3.1 users are able to run and refresh Webi reports but we have a few Deski reports also.

The deski reports are set to refresh on open with a prompt but when the report opens the users get a box with a red x and an OK button (attached jpg). When we give the users admin rights they are able to run the report.

I’m pretty sure this is a permissions issue but cannot work out what permissions these users are missing. What would they require as a minimum to resfresh a Deski report in infoview with prompts?

a Deski report, originally migrated from v6.5 … run/refresh in Infoview (XI 3.1 SP2.1) … behaving very strangely Click Refresh, we get a BLANK Error Message box (see screenshot) (box title says “Refreshing Data” and just a big red X) Click OK to get past the blank error dialog box, Click Refresh again and then we get the correct prompt box (yea) But after filling in the prompts, we get the “SetPrompts failed” dialogue box (see screeenshot) Tried it as admin - same thing Report runs and ref…

Are you getting any error mesage while refreshing the Deski report (not in Infoview)?
