I have one free-hand SQL report written in Deski that’s hanging when you try to run it in InfoView. The report was written, published, and currently runs fine in BOXIR2 InfoView. We’re in the process of moving to XIR3.1 and testing reports. The @prompt syntax changed in R3.1. Most reports run fine after the syntax change. But we have one free-hand SQL report that just hangs. After the sytnax change it runs fine in Deski. But when you try to run it in InfoView it just hangs. It never displays any prompts. You just see the hour glass and it sits there. The report contains 9 queries (all with free-hand SQL), and includes 5 prompts. This report runs for the entire student population at a school (small elementary school or a large high school). Also, if we “schedule” the report it runs fine. We have the same report just modified to print for a specific student (@prompt for student), and another version that runs using a list of students (@prompt for list). They run fine in InfoView. It’s just the report that runs for an entire school that never displays any prompts and just hangs. We’ve tried the following with the same hang results 
:
- Double checked the syntax and republished the report.
- Changed the prompts to hard coded values. Ran the report successfully in Deski, then put the @prompt sytax back, ran successfully, saved, and republished the report.
Does anyone have any further ideas? This is one of our most used reports. I appreciate any suggestions.
