DeskI, Citrix and Active Directory

Hi,

There is a problem using AD authentication for DeskI in Citrix environment. (XIr2 - version 11.5.8.826)

The situation is following

  • AD authentication is activated and working (groups mapping done)
    for DeskI installed locally

  • in Citrix, Enterprise authentication is working but not AD authentication
    I receive then message


[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Security plugin error: An error has occurred in the plugin, but the plugin is unable to return a detailed error message.(hr=#0x80042a01)

After searching through the posts, I tried to re-activate secWinAD.dll
without success.

Any ideas ?

Got it!

I had to resintall the full client package instead of selecting DesktopIntelligence only in Enterprise package (then dll was missing)…
