HELP!

when i wanted to export a universe after editing, i got no response from the designer, so i had to terminate it by task manager.

then i also found that the designer gave no response when i tried to edit any connection.

i reinstall bo enterprise but the designer still didn’t work.

designer version: 12.1.0.882

would anyone tell me why and what i should do? thx.

So you can sign on to Designer okay? And you can import a universe from the repository okay? Has it ever worked?

yes. i can sign on and import universe.

btw, i have 2 servers for testing, and i can sign on either of them.

Which Version of BO you are using and how many Java Versions are running on your machine??

Hxtan,

I had a problem in importing … somehow the stopping and restarting of CMS and I/O FRS. Helped me.

You can try the same and then try exporting and editing the universe.

I suggested you that b’coz i also had a problem on similar notes. I was able to do everything Except importing the universe…
