I have been getting a feel for Design Studio 1.6 and have been and MS-SQL database for my UNX data source. Everything had been working as expected, but one of my universes has a derived table that uses a view in the query. When I attempt to use that universe as a Data Source and Edit the Query Specification, I get the error that the ‘database view’ is an invalid object.
We are on BI 4.1 SP 7. The ODBC driver is SQL Server Native Client 11.0 and the MS-SQL server version is 2014.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
FYI: I get the same error in Crystal Reports for Enterprise.
