design parameter dialogue in two or more steps

Hello expert,

  there is a crystal report here. it display only one parameter after launching, after I select value for it and click ok, it switch to another parameter dialogue holding multiple parameters. can you tell me how to design parameter dialogue in this way to select parameters in two or more steps?

I suspect that the report that is doing this in two steps has a subreport and the parameters for the subreport are NOT linked to the main report. The first screen shows the parameters from the main report and the second shows the parameters from the subreport.
