NetWeaver is the SAP platform, offering for example the NetWeaver Enterprise Portal, which is a web portal.

SAP BO, which actually iscalled SAP BusinessObjects is the front-end solution from the company BusinessObjects, which was acquired by SAP in Feb of 2008) and is a server platform with reporting tools such as WebIntelligence, universes (semantical layer), and also a web portal called InfoView (which has nothing to do with SAP NetWeaver). The latest version is SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.x with ServicePack 4.

SAP BI (=SAP BI 4.0) is the newest major release version of SAP BusinessObejcts, and is at this time not generally available, but expected to be released soon. Pre-GA version including support is available to customers though!

I know about SAP BO as I am SAP BO Developer but I am working on it since last 3 months. I am learning right now from official SAP Training Center and also working there as an SAP Developer.

But I want to know that Can I move to SAP BI?
Should I move or SAP BO is good?
Which field is good SAP BI or SAP BO?

If I want to learn SAP BI then can it be easy for me (as I know about SAP BO) ?

Well, to me SAP BI equals SAP BI 4.0, and this is the next major release of suite “SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.x”. As such I would definately move to SAP BI 4.0, as it brings loads of improvements such as: 64-bit server version, direct access to SAP BEx queries (via BICS), etc.

Not sure, what your real question is though…

You might be refering to the old SAP Front-end tools such as SAP BEx Analyzer (a MS Excel add-in to access SAP BEx queries), or SAP BEx Query Designer (to write SAP BEx queries against an SAP BW data source), etc.

SAP bI and SAP BO

business intelligence & BO-business objects as all know …

if u know about BI u can deal easily with BO … both are same … SAP is a platform for BO … with sso linking b/w SAP & BO we call it as SAP BO or SAP bi … in bo universe designer , infoview, deski will be there as all know but getting clear idea about these things and functionality u can rock it …!!!
