I am using an object in the filter of my Crystal Report that is from a derived table in the Universe. The table contains a Case Statement and is causing an error in Crystal.
The error reads “Print Engine Error”. Not sure why Print Engine - but my question is whether or not Crystal is able to handle the object since it is based on the derived table with the Case Statement - the object works great in Webi.

Are you sure it’s the derived table that’s causing the problem? Have you looked at the SQL that’s generated for your report (in the Database menu, select Show SQL…) to verify that it’s valid SQL? If the SQL is valid, then there’s something else besides the Derived Table that’s causing the problem.
