Our schedule to send email to internal employees works ok using the existing email setting under AdaptiveJobServer. It uses the following:
Domain: Domain
Host: webmail.domain.com
Port: 25
Authentication: None
Username: administration
Password: xxxxxxxxxxx
We can’t send any external email. We get the error:
deliverResultsToDestination failed.
I don’t see anything in the log.
Now our Adminstrator said that office365 is being used and the setting will need to be changed.
He has tried different setting:
Domain: empty
Host: smtp.office365.com
port: 587
Authentication: Plain
Also enabled SSL.
But change the setting break even the internal email as well.
What exactly and in what format do we need the setting to make the external and internal email work.
Is there anything that can be out on the BO server out the CMC to troubleshoot it.
