Is it possible to set up delegated administrators that cannot change the Infoview properties or Web Intelligence properties via the CMC?
These same users require access to Infoview and to Webi to create reports but within the CMC I don’t want them accessing the properties of the applications.
Any ideas anyone?

Off the top of my head, it seems like if you create a normal group and that user logs into the CMC, they don’t see the options for application configuration. You’d have to explicitly grant the rights to the CMC you want them to be able to control.

Thanks, done that already. The new group has a very limited range of abilities after logging into the CMC, except I can’t seem to find if it’s at all possible where to prevent access to the applications area of the CMC - particularly the properties area of Infoview and Webi.

In CMC under Applications -> InfoView you have two sets of rights ( General and Application).
Among general “Edit this object” gives users the rights to modify infoview etc.
We had implemented something very similar for our power users.

Are you sure these settings prevent users from changing the Infoview properties within the CMC, I’ve disabled Edit in unde both General and applications but delgated admins can still access and change the properties.
