Dateformat in prompt using calendar

Hi,

We have a prompting requirement.
When the date prompt is choosed from the calendar only the date should be selected and not the time.
Now the current time is also appending with the date choosen. This is a universe based report.
This behaves as we expect in WebI.
We have changed the format of that object in the universe too. But no use. Please suggest some solution.
We are using Crystal reports 2008 and SQL server.

Is your prompt part of the Universe query or was it built in Crystal? If it was created in Crystal, change the format of the prompt to Date instead of DateTime.

The prompt is created in the universe. But i tried creating a report level parameter and pass those value to the universe prompt, but dont know how to do it.
