Date Validation

Hi All,
I have a date promts and i expect the users to enter the date in mm/dd/yyyy format. In case the users donot follow this format and enters a date such as 31/12/2005 Web I throws a server error. is there any validation screens that i can pop up for the users asking them to enter a valid date or some meaningful error message.

P.S: We have educated he users to enter the correct date format. this is only for a double check.

There’s no such capability for out-of-the-box WebIntelligence. The only possibility (I’ve never done it) is to pay for the SDK, and write code, to get this functionality.

If you have the SDK, you might check the SDK forum elsewhere on BOB to see if someone has coded such a validation.
