So my report has a time field.
However when we bring it to excel it will show in the cell as :
1-1-1970 10:20:04
In webi you will not see 1-1-1970…
How can I make it that the field in the report only shows (exports) the time and not the (wrong) date??

How is the time field formatted in WebI? I can format a datetime field as time, export it to Excel and see the correct times, with no dates.

Well the dimension is formatted as a ‘Date Time’.
And in the report it is formatted as a Time.
It is set to ‘8:45 PM’.
I now noticed that when you format it as ‘Default’ is will give 1-1-70.
So somehow this default date is comming in from the Universe?
I only need the time part. But formatting in the report is only masking it.
Exporting to excel will always give you date & time and not only the time.
