Date Conversion in Sap Universe Designer

Hi to all

I have a date dimension with date format that looks like
‘11-12-2016 15:10:45’ and I want to create another dimension with date format that should look like ‘11-12-2016 15’. Could you please help to solve this.

I cannot use FormatDate function as it shows as invalid in universe designer 3.1

FormatDate is a webi function - it won’t work in Designer.

If you want two date objects, just copy the first one and then right-click Object Format and set the display how you want it to appear in reports.

In Designer, right click on your object and set the format how you want.
Note that any changes you make to date formats in the universe will only affect new uses of the object, not existing uses.
