DATE Conditions /Comparisons in WEBi Reports

Hi,

I have to build report with following requirement.Need to get Start date and end date from user and Display it in the report as report Start Date and report End Date i have used user response Function to do this.User is entering the date Through Prompt Calender.

I need to check the below condition Before displaying the dates in the reports

1. Start Date should not be future date i.e Should not be Greater than end Date
   2)End date should be Greater than Start date and equal to Today’s date

If the above condtions fails ERROR MESSAGE saying "INVALID DATE PLEASE ENTER CORRECt DATE RANGE " should be displayed in the Report.

Can anyone help me how we can apply this Logic.

Note : I dont have Universe or database access.

BO does not have this functionality, unfortunately.

Hi, I Have developed the report in webi where user enters Start date and end date using calender prompt and it should be displayed in report.but if user enters date in reverse order that is start date in end date box and end date in start date box then the same is displayed in report also so can anyone tell me how to restrict the user to enter the date in reverse order.
